Book Urban Petals to do the work for you this Holiday Season so you can enjoy the Christmas magic with friends & family!! We are partnering with Inside the Design Interior Design Studio to bring you professional, bespoke, holiday decorating services for the 2021 Holiday Season. If you are looking to have your home or business professionally decorated for the Holidays this year, we would be honored to work with you! Our design team will source decorations exclusively from Urban Petals’ expansive 2021 Holiday collection. Urban Petals Lifestyle Boutique offers a wide range of beautiful Holiday decorations, trees, and all the trimmings!
What should I expect during my Holiday Decorating Consultation?
Consultation appointments are available between October 15 - November 8.
Designer Summer Shown of Inside The Design will meet with you in your space to discuss your vision, area(s) to be decorated, take measurements, and assess the scope of your Holiday Decorating Project.
Your consultation will last up to one hour.
After your Consultation, you will receive:
A Design Board with Custom Color & Visual Selections;
Proposal of recommended decor & installation costs for your custom Holiday Decorating project.
Once you sign off on the Design Board & Proposal, we will schedule your Holiday Decoration Installation.
Holiday Decoration Installations are available between November 15 - December 4, 2021.
What should I do to Prepare for my Holiday Decorating Consultation?
Decide which area(s) of your home or business you want to have decorated.
Finalize your tree details.
Will you be using a Fresh or Artificial Tree?
Determine the height of your tree.
If you’re using an artificial tree, do you have a tree or will you need to purchase a new one?
Is it pre-lit? If yes, does it use LED or incandescent string lights? Do the lights still work?
We are proud to partner exclusively with Urban Petals Lifestyle Boutique to source trimmings, ornaments, decor, and materials.
If you have any existing ornaments that you wish to incorporate into your holiday decorations, please have those items out of storage and in the space during your Consultation.
Determine your budget for your Holiday Decor. Our Clients typically invest between $1,200 - $2,000 per newly decorated tree (not including the tree or lights). See our Holiday Decorating Pricing Guide below.
Holiday Decorating Appointments are limited this year and will be scheduled between November 15 - December 4.
Holiday Decorating Pricing Guide
Each Holiday Decorating Project is custom quoted based on the area(s) to be decorated, the scope, and time needed to complete your decorating. After your Consultation, you will receive your custom Design Board & Proposal electronically within 2-3 business days. Your Proposal will outline the recommended costs for decor and materials and length of time needed to complete your Holiday decorating. On average, our design team installs a tree in 4-6 hours depending on the complexity and level of readiness of the tree prior to beginning decorating.
Our Clients typically invest $1,200-$2,000 per newly decorated tree (exclusive of the tree, lights, and labor to install).
Our Hourly Installation Fee is $250 per Hour. This fee includes 1 Designer and 1-2 Design Assistants. Travel time is included within Greenville County. Travel outside of Greenville County will be calculated separately at the hourly rate + mileage. Our minimum design fee is $1,000 and includes four hours of installation labor. This does not include the cost for decor and supplies.
You may schedule a private shopping appointment at Urban Petals Lifestyle Boutique to hand-select your items with our Design team.
Our design team will not be able to make decor purchases for you at other retail establishments since Urban Petals Lifestyle Boutique is our exclusive retail partner.
Payment for your Holiday Decorating Project is due in full when you approve the Design Proposal. Your Installation Date will be scheduled once you approve your Design Proposal and submit payment in full.
How to Prepare for your Holiday Decorating Installation
Please have your tree set up and secured in placed. We will fluff and adjust the tree as needed.
The room surrounding the area to be decorated should be well cleaned (i.e. vacuumed, swept, dusted, free of extra decorations, etc.). Our design team will not be able to begin your installation if the area has not been properly prepared.
Check to be sure your tree lights are in working order.
If during your Consultation you discussed with our Designer that you wish to also utilize some of your own decorations, we ask that you please have these items present in the space prior to your installation appointment.
Our design team will not be able to retrieve items from your basement, attic, or storage areas.
If the installation is not able to proceed because the area has not been properly cleaned, the tree is not set-up, or the lights are not in working order, additional time will be incurred by our design team. An additional fee will be calculated at our hourly rate and will be automatically added to your invoice. If it is not possible for our design team to complete your Holiday decorating in the allotted amount of time due to these factors, an alternate date may be necessary to complete the project pending availability but is not necessarily guaranteed.
After Christmas “Take-Down” Services
We’ve tried to think of everything including the unpleasant task of taking down the decorations! Be sure to ask about this add-on service when you book your Holiday Decorating through Urban Petals this year.
After the Holidays are over, we can come back to your home to take down your installed holiday decorations. A minimum of 3 hours is required to secure a take-down appointment. The amount of time needed to complete the project will be evaluated on a case by case situation at the time of your consultation. Our take-down services begin at $750 and are due at the time of booking this service.
Take-down appointments will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
How to prepare for your After Christmas “Take-down” Appointment
We will remove the decor from the areas installed by the Urban Petals team. These items will be carefully packed in your storage containers. We recommend storage bins like these. If you would like to purchase storage bins through Urban Petals, please let us know at your Consultation.
Please Note: Our design team will not be able to move your storage bins to your attic, basement, or any storage area once the take-down is completed.
